Robots are fucking boring

And no this isn’t an article about advances in artificial intelligence. It’s an article about people.

We’ve been on a bit of a hiatus as some of you may have noticed, sure we’ve kept you posted on all our social media but we were left scratching our heads on what’s going on with this website.

So instead of going on a yoga retreat to India to ‘find our true selves’ like the plot of a terrible Rom-Com (Eat Pray Love was rubbish), we looked at our previous articles to try and figure out why they were so shit. And we realised we’d lost a bit of our character in trying to write professionally like the BBC...and then who the hell would want to replicate them

AyeforScotland was started by a teenager who was on holiday and was missing out on campaigning at the local Yes stall back home. Someone who, beforehand, had never considered writing a blog, making YouTube videos, live-streaming, or posting an image of former First Minister Alex Salmond whenever someone online asked who was behind the blog.

We’re taking a different approach to stuff now. We’re doing things our way because there’s actually a whole bunch of us behind the scenes and we want to campaign for Scottish independence and have a good laugh while we do it.

The campaign for Scottish independence is a fun, social one so we’ll be looking for guest writers who maybe have unique experiences to write about. If that sounds like you, you can fire us an email at AyeforScotland@outlook.com.

In the meantime we plan on converting some of our previous YouTube videos into articles so everyone has their preferred method of digesting material and what not.

Catch you in a bit, we'll leave you with a short video on how the Union is doing.

Yours for Scotland,

Aye
